Hello there.

Hello, call me Clench.  If you know what that references, good for you.  We’ll probably get along quite swimmingly.  If you don’t know what that references, then our Disney priorities might differ slightly, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be friends.
I’m here to write about theme parks, mostly in Orlando, and if I’m being honest, mostly about the Magic Kingdom.  I’ve been living in the Orlando area for a few years now, and I frequent most of the area parks.  I spend almost as much time in the Magic Kingdom as Tuna Tom, though I’m sure we have a slightly different daily routine.
I love Disney, and I love theme parks.  I love the theme park as an art form.  I love the Disney historical legacy.  That doesn’t mean that I think that everything the Walt Disney Company has done has been perfect.  At the same time, I don’t think that everything Disney has done in the last 10 years has been a mistake.  In fact, I think that the WDW parks, especially the Magic Kingdom, are back on the upswing.
I’m not an expert in much of anything.  My Disney parks credentials are marginal, I’ve been coming to WDW consistently since 1995, and I’ve lived in Orlando since early ’08.  I’m no great historian, and I’ll never pretend to be.  I have vivid memories of Horizons and the original Journey into Imagination, but not World of Motion.  I can’t tell you the best places to eat in the parks because I’m broke and rarely eat theme park food.  I don’t have the patience or stamina to catalog every minute change that happens at the parks.  I only make it over to DAK three of four times a year.
In spite of all this, I would like to humbly offer my insight on this page over the course of the life of this little blog.  I’ll probably never claim to be an expert in anything, or offer anything too serious in terms or critical analysis or historical perspective.  What I can offer is my perspectives on a place that I visit extremely regularly, a place I hold very near and dear to my heart.  I hope you’ll be here to join me in the coming weeks and months.
Now that I’ve said that, my next entry will be the obligatory Disneyland/WDW comparison.  I recently got back from a trip to the D23 Expo, and I have a lot on my mind.
